Just because you need to cut back on the spending, planning a wedding on a budget can still be easy. All wedding decor is made up of similar things, you might have chosen a specific theme, but the individual decor items will remain the same , they will just fit into your theme ideas. Also, a budget doesn’t mean cheap or not memorable.

Should you hire the services of a wedding planner, then you must instruct them to shop at regular stores for your decor items and not pay attention to specialized wedding stores. Besides the whole point of a ‘good’ planner is that they should be imaginative and can shop in this manner. This will ensure a uniqueness about your wedding, that simply cannot be achieved by shopping where everyone else does.

We all know that on special occasions i.e. Valentine’s Day! All the flowers and cards go up in price. Battery operated candles are the best option if you don’t want the fire hazard, or be relighting them every 3 minutes. Candles come in such an array of colors and designs these days that very imaginative center pieces can be put together using them. The candle holders can be very lovely designs and materials as well.

A garden reception is very popular in the warmer weather. Many people choose hotel grounds etc. Usually there is some kind of water display, be it a pond or pool. If so why not light some boat lanterns or floating candles. There are some amazing floating candles from Asia these days.Line the walkways with lit torches, that can look totally stunning.

Many decorations can also be made yourself. You can make all kinds of beautiful decorations on the cheap by creating them using fabric, craft supplies, candles, or other decorations.

When wedding planning on a budget, you have many options available for you. If you are crafty, many things can be made yourself instead of having to pay high prices for them. Your wedding will be truly unique if you make your own.
